Our Story
What began in 1996 as a passionate boutique dance studio has evolved into the Flathead Valley’s premier performing arts institution.
Originally founded as Center Stage School of Dance under the visionary direction of Shoni Jaeger, the studio broke new ground in the region. We were the proud pioneers to offer a comprehensive, diverse training curriculum that seamlessly blended Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and specialized Early Childhood dance education.
As our student community thrived, so did our vision. In 1999, to match our rapid expansion, we transitioned into a custom-built, state-of-the-art facility engineered specifically for elite training. This milestone birthed the Academy of the Performing Arts, beautifully uniting top-tier dance and music education under a single roof.
For over three decades, our core philosophy has never wavered: providing structured, technique-backed training within a highly disciplined yet deeply nurturing environment. Built entirely on a progressive, graded curriculum, we ensure both dancers and musicians advance with complete consistency and purpose.
